The Little Wing Story

Dating back to 1994, Little Wing Nature School has established strong roots within the Ridgefield community.  Teachers, Amy Manning and daughter Claire Manning have grown to know Ridgefield as their home for the past 25 years.

When COVID hit in 2019, our instinct was to provide solace for families within our community.  We created a school that offered a screen-free, enchanting learning environment. With the absolute success and joy that it brought to the children, their families and ourselves, we decided to continue our little school house journey. We are so happy to be offering Ridgefield's first nature-based children's learning community!
